Has anyone heard anything about the bear referendum in Maine.

I checked a news site and it was tied on percent with no slightly ahead in actual votes. Only 10% we're reporting in though.

I am surprised that this did not get prime time billing on this forum. The good people of Maine voted to keep bear hunting with hounds and the use of bait while still hunting. They did this despite the HSUS spending a whole lot of money running misleading TV ads and some ads that were down right lies. The HSUS runs adds on TV asking for money to take care of abused dogs and cats but spends next to nothing on animal shelters. Most of this money raised goes to anti hunting initiatives and salaries for the officers of the HSUS.

they r a bunch of bleeding hearts and they create most of the bs u see on tv ,and they could have spent all the moneys promoting this anti bear hunting on their little critters, they would have at least saved a pussy cat or 2.when u donate moneys 4 a cause u shouldnt be paying some ones pay check or hunting trip like some of the other cry babys.the good people of maine have spoken and u butt holes can move on to thiland, where cat and dogs are eaten all the time.i was over there in 68,while fighting in the army and see it first hand,so move on.people with a half a brain see right through your bs ,so good luck in thiland and may the bear hunting go on in the beautiful state of maine
