Another one lost to the Road!
A few weeks Back our good friend Pete Flanagan Of Broadalbin NY lost his nice Bluetick female which was treed next to the road unfortunately!.She 4 years old and was outta Gauge and from canda and needed some fine tuning and pete almost had her Running and treeing consistently till she was hit on the road!.As he picked her body up and placed her in the back of the truck, he then asked the lady what tree she was barking on.as she pointed to the tree, there was the coon looking down!.always the good ones sad to say!.especially when times are tough when finding a good dog especially!. after trying and going threw multiple dogs pete found this little gauge female and another female from indiana!.well now its just the one coondog and a few youngs dogs.hopefully they'll stay outta harms way but with development and constant traffic the fate of hounds are never good when cut loose......happy hunting and safe travels to all!!!!!!!...theo
Sorry to hear that
