Iowa State hunt

According to UKC's website it is coming up this weekend but I have not seen any advertisements on the board or in the bloodlines...I see other states doing a good job advertising their state hunt.

Just wondering why ours hasnt been promoted at all???

The Iowa State Govenors Cup isn't until August 16th-17th it will be advertised when its time.

alright so theres the governors cup and the state hunt- two seperate deals right?

On the UKC website it states the IA state hunt is in Bussey this weekend and i havnt heard anyone talking about it...kinda threw me off. I thought it would be a bigger deal than that.

Iowas gov cup is there big one,its hard to get good participation when you hold 2 large state events and also hard to find people to put in the work,the Iowa state assoc I'm sure is always lookin for help,check out there website mite get some info there.

Bussey has held the Iowa State Champioship for years and years. It has nothing to do with The Iowa State Coonhunters Association. The ISCH holds the Governors Cup in August and has since 1975. This is the Purina Event for Iowa. Gets kind of confusing. I hope this helps.
