help

i bought a 7 month old male walker and never been messed with and seems to only wanna chase. ive showed him two cage coon and was so scared of them but wants to chase it when let it run and have been putting him in the woods with my female bluetick he only wants to chase her and does a little babbling not bad he shows intreset at trees looks up dont bark but im not expecting alot out of him now hes young but wondering whats the right approach on getting him going the right direction and curious about the coon thing

Just keep exposing him but don't push him, let him come along at his own pace.

Forget about the coon for a while, have that pup loose as much as you can, If you live where you can let him loose thats best if not take him for a romp in the woods for an hour every day and just let the pup explore and before ya know it nature will take its course. If they grow up in a pen or on a chain you just end up with a retard.
