what is the best snake chaps
what is ya'll thoughts on the best snake chaps ya can buy ...any info would be helpful
thanks 4 ya time
Honestly I've found them to be a waste of money. In cold weather I wear waders but once it warms up I just wear old running shoes. Do a search on here and out of the hundredes of people using this site I would bet less than 10 have been bitten.
i cant find my snake chaps, its been so long since i wore them i forgot were i threw them down at. i stopped wearing them cause their so hot. i wouldnt get the plactic kind, i use to have some of them, we called stove pipes i believe i rather go barefooted as to wear them things.lol
Get a pair of boots with a 1000 denien rating on the chaps. that the same nylon type they make the snake boots out of. I have some some Valley Creek, and they work. I do not know if a rattler can bite through the Muck Boot, but i know for fact they can't the chap. Been field tested.
Now, as for the math theroy written above, i can agree with it in theroy. Question for you? Do you want to be that one in so many chance?
