Blizzard Challenge

Just a update for saturday... We are in the middle of a Lake Effect snow band that is not playing nice. For those who are still coming, please be sure to have gas. We are still meeting at my house, but will travel approx 50 miles North to the running grounds, above the lake snows.

The trucks are leaving at 8am sharp!!! Its only 14 degree's so dress warm. Snow shoes not needed. I have called everyone who I had a number for, so I hope the few others will read this. Please drive safe and give yourselves extra time for a safe trip.

I will have results of this years King and Queen of the North, sometime this weekend.

When its no longer fun, sell the hounds and take up Golf.

Just a note: this is a non sanctioned event!!! It is being run Large Pack format (4hr minimum) and will be judged by Beagle on fox format rules. All Handlers will be paired or trio, and all handlers will score what they see.

at trial end, score cards will be totaled on each entry for a combined score. 5 places, including high scoring opp sex winner... Cash, trophy and the title of best snowhound is whats for grabs...... As of 10pm tonight I know we have 17 dogs entered...

p.s. snow is what we have and lots of it! Several more inches by daylight.. Lets hope the rabbits cooperate with our plans!

Good Luck with the Blizzard Hunt. Hope the weather holds off. Wouldn't it be awful if you had to spend a month, with Glenn (The Legend) Landry. We would probably see the new verision of One Flew Over The CoCo Nest. LOL

Update from Blizzard Challenge! Just got a text that 18 dogs entered and running has been good so far 3 hrs in!

I beleive it's the return to Brokeback Mt to run Rainbow bunnies!
