Crazy question

Does anyone have insurance on your hound? If so where did you find it and is it worth having?

I asked my insurance agent if he could find a policy for my dog. Called back later and said he couldn't. He knew I had coonhounds, don't know if that made a difference or not. I did have ins. on my cutting horse stud through a company in Neb. They specialize in horse ins.

Yes you can get insurance. Type it in the search, Im sure there are alot of topics on it

This was just one of those thoughts, seems you see a lot of stuff happen on here to hounds that the owners have a lot invested in and seems it would help cover some of the finical loss in the event of a death or loss of a valuable dog?

MY UNDERSTANDING IS IF YOU CLAIM THEM AS PERSONAL PROPERTY YOU CAN AND SHOULD GET THEM INSURED, I THINK IF YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WOULD'NT OR COULD'NT I WOULD BE FINDING A DIFFERENT COMPANY ..
