yall are lucky an dont even know it

yall can hunt an im kinda stuck lol... first durin spring break my lil 9 mo old walker gyp got hit by a garbage truck an smashed her hip all up an shes gone now... an on may 19 i was in a 4 wheeler accident an got my leg smashed into a tree an broke my femur in half... well they did surgery an put a 21 in rod down my leg, they also put 2 screws in my knee an 1 in my hip... i have no cast as they said i could put all the weight on it i wanted to, well ive been off crutches for bout 3 weeks now an walk with a limp, the surgeon said that it would take 3 to 4 mos for it to completely heal, also i guess this is a good thing, but he said that im more progress than any patient hes had with a brake as bad as mine... THANKS TO ALL THE MILITARY PERSONNEL FOR KEEPIN THIS GREAT COUNTRY SAFE!!! keep the hounds on the trail...

BLESSED

You are blessed my brother, I know how you feel. Back in March of this year, I fell at work [2 storys] and I broke 3 veterbra in my back and 10 ribs and other injuries. I have got 2 rods and 10 screws in my back[I thought it was only 5 screws, but found out the other day it was 10 screws]. Anyway, now I am up and walkin, and not just walkin, now I can walk a little over 2 miles!! So what Im tryin to tell you brother is like me ,you too to are blessed by the LORD JESUS. Keep on keepin on , keep the faith, and thank THE GOOD LORD JESUS every day for your blessins. I will be prayin for you , and GOD BLESS YALL ALL.

Prayers for you!

I am also a bit limited in what I can do and find this site to be my window to the coonhound world Sure have made some awesome friendships on here over the years. I know my accident(10-2-97) changed my life. Sure there is Bad on some days, pain, fatigue, brain issues... but I thank GOD for those problems... because every little jolt of pain or sorrow or whatever.. reminds me that I was lucky enough to stay here a bit longer with my loved ones!

Take care and indeed, enjoy each day you wake!

life is GOOD, even in bad times....

Heather
