dog question

ok have a four yo walker. hunted him a lot when he was younger and when he was a two yo was a real good dog. drive a track and have the meat. i moved and had to leave him behind for about two yrs and he only got hunted a couple times. been hunting him now for a few months and he will tree some but runs a lot of tracks some hot some not but finishes very few of them. is his confidence down? what does he need just a few shot to him?

i would say it needs hunted hard ,some dropped out to him hope this helps

I've "reworked" several stale hounds over the years, and I found it is best to put them with a good hound for a while. They will pick up pretty fast, if they still have it. Tom
