Bad Night Need Suggestions

OK LAST NIGHT GUIDED A 3 dog cast i was hunting my own 3 year old. 2nd drop other 2 dogs open up 50 yards in and hear grawling and both guys said didnt sound good. that went on for a little while and then my dog barks 3 time. then it goes quiet so we wait and the two other dogs come back with ^&**^%$$ quills and 2 min later mine runs by and at a glance looks good so he hunts on. He starts a track and finishes it with other dog comin in behind him, we get there and he has 100 plusssss quils under his tounge and side and feet. they were small no barbs so musta been a baby. so we shine the tree cus still open for points and we see a porkey. so next 40 min we all spend pullin quills and i might add my wife did a great job while i was makin him eat the stick. so we go onto next drop one dog is scratched by handler and we have 2 dogs hunting now i go to a spoy i treed a double night before. we cut them and my dog goes and hunts other dog lays down 30 yards out . my dog tracks and hammers a tree and we go in and when we get there he goes and i meen goes fast and other guy say the eye in the tree so was a coon there. now we go for mile through swamp to get my dog. then back to club by 1. he has never bumped porkey or dont that bs leave tree he woulda won cast if he staYED, i hunt him 2 drops a night 6 nights a week and shows alot of cooon. is this a me too fluke? or somthing i should be worried about ruiening him what shopuld i do, i want to get a road kill porkey and put in pen with him and let lay a few days . whats all your thoughts i dont wanna hunt him till i do somthing

Hey Jon maybe the second tree wasen't a coon either. From your story I'm assuming you didn't actually see the coon in the tree. Just maybe to save himself from being worked over he left. I Have seen this before unfortunatly.
