kennel names

Can someone tell me if i need a kennel name or not? I have one b/t male coondog that i would like to stud out when he gets older if i can. I was told that i needed a kennel name in order to do this and need some help. I have rabbit dogs also that are reg with akc but never been told i really needed a name. The black and tan that i have came directly out of Dark Hollow Slam. He is only 10 months old but dog gone if he aien't blowing the tops out of the trees right now by hisself. I would like to comp hunt him when he gets a little older. Thanks for the help.

Becoming a stud doesn't require a Kennel name...

If your hound is or becomes a proven winner he will sell himself... Puting him in the winners circle is his best chance to become a great stud... Make wise choices on the females that you bred... Don't just bred him to every thing that backs up to him... JMO

kennel name?

I agree with the two guys that psoted replies , only if you want a kennel name if you don't want a kennel name don't worry about it. Like cartwright said if your dog is a proven winner he will sale his self. The only reason that you would need a kennel name is if you went and got a kennel licnses and most people that are in the dog buisness are breeding there own females as well as other peopels in other wards they have a kennel licnses. like your being told don't worry about a kennel name when your dog becomes a proven winner he will sale him self.
