Louisiana State Hunt this Weekend

Friday and Sat night at the Haughton La club. Look in the book or upcoming events for the time. We normally draw 30-40 dogs for the event. Come out and have some fun.

John they gonna let you guide on base?

Guided another cast win out there on Sat. My redbone pup looked good but her 200+ couldn't bet the walker dog with 275+. We looked at two coon and the red dog had a den tree with 4 min left and i couldn't find it. That would have given my a cast win in her first hunt. I will guide on base this weekend so look for some good scores.

You still have most of the winning casts comming off the base?

Most of the time i do. This dog took second in the hunt but it was a slam event so all dogs hunted together under nite champ rules. Heck, My red bone was fourth high scoring dog in the hunt at 200+. Couple of the nite champs looked at slick tails.
