Garmin micro sd card
just got my garmin and i put the sd card in. is there anything special that i have to do for it to read or will it see it. didnt really see anything about it in the directions, just stuff about how to load maps to the card. thanks
Your Garmin should load when you power it up, and will take about 5min. When loaded you will start seeing topo and road numbers or names. I have see blank cards get sent by accident and in very rare cases a Garmin not load the card at all. If it doesn't load it has to go back to the manufacture

You have to set the map detail int he settings tab. I use the "most" setting.

I installed my card and had to call distributor ( lion country supply ) they helped me out. But the instructions have alot to be desired and are not user friendly. But I do like mine.
