Okay-This might sound dumb. But how do you figure out what speed your dog is?

measure the length of all toe nails, add all measurements together and divide by 4. number equals speed of hound.

just pickin,

i would go hunt with a few people that say they have medium speed dogs (5) and then you will have a idea about yours.

well bub told me he and arthur take their dogs out into this field lets arthur get a headstart puts rabbit scent on his feet and the first one catches him is a keeper!!!lol sorry arthur
