'PR' Bowers Blue Gunner
**-'PR' Browns Ind. Wild-n-blue radar

back in the next generation is Smiley's Rambo III, Blue frosty Rambo, Northern Blue Jet V, Northern Blue Hammer XVIII.
The guys said he runs and trees his own coon. He Was born 8-23-07. I was told he needs to be worked with. I paid around $200.00 for him was that a good deal?
also what are the degrees and what do they mean?
Like Jet V:
GN 23 NC 63 GS 14 SC27
Now I know that
GN=Grand Nite Champion
NC = Night Champion
GS= Grand show champion
sc= show champion
now, what do the numbers mean? I thought once your dog won the nite champion status, it went on to be Grand nite champions.
Can some one answer these questions?
it means that out of all Jet V's offspring that have been registered, there are 23 Grntchs, 63 Ntchs, etc....to make Ntch, you have to accumulate 100 pts, and a 1st place win (which is worth 40 pts) 2nd place is worth 35 pts, 3rd is 30, etc...so a 1st place is 40 pts, and two 3rd places would finish the dog out, or a 2nd and 4th place win (in addition to the 1st place win) To make Grntch you have to be high scoring Ntch at 5 hunts....
$200 for a 2 + year old dog, I wouldnt expect much...$200 is a medium/cheap puppy price anymore, I hope me makes you a nice one, and isnt someone elses problem that was pawned off to you....just hunt him and you will know soon enough...
took gunner out for the first time tonight. we dropped and within 10 minutes he bayed on a hole. got him off the hole and let him go again. he wouldn't cross the ditch and wouldn't run out very far. my buddy went back to his truck and got his walker and he let them both go. Bo (walker) struck first and then gunner went that way with bo and they both treed. Went to the tree and gunner met us about 20 yards from the tree. took him back to the tree and got him to stay there. knocked one out and let him have it. He sure knew what to do with it! Next 2 trees he stayed right there. He is a little quiet but other than that, we work him in our state once kill season goes in, We should have a really nice dog.
Thank God for early michigan kill season.
well good deal, I hope he makes you a good one...
