I think everyone that hunt's dogs has lost a dog for a night or 2. Esp with the older tracking systems. As you probably already know most hunters put a colar on there dogs with there name and phone number on it just for such instances.

Its just to bad this one doesn't have one on to help you find its way home.

Your right, everyone puts a collar and name plate with owners info. However that sometimes doesn't pursuade anyone from removing the collars and dropping the dog off in another location.
