North Geogria

I'm moving from south ga to Chattanooga this week and would like to hear from any coonhunters up there. i will be working with Shaw in Ringgold, GA. How is the hunting up in those parts? looks kinda hilly to me. I'm used to swamps and bottoms. How the heck can you coon hunt off the side of a mountain?? I've got a really young blue dog out of northern blue dancer that I would eventually like to bring up, but I don't have a place for him right now. Anybody close to Ringgold, Dalton, or Ft. Oglethorpe?????

Chris

Dancer

Chris, How is the Dancer dog reproducing ?? Is he a better reproducer than Levi ?? With him going back to Kirby's Blue Spike on his Mother's side ( Michagin Rebel, Hammer II. ) that brings that old Hammer Blood back......... Hammer, Hammer II, Hammer III. Dancer is a fine looking hound as was Bingo.........

I don't know about many of Dancer's pups, but I do know a good bit about the litter that mine came from. They started really young. He's been treeing his own since around 6 months, and consistantly slit treeing since 9 months. i've put him in 4 hunts at 12months-13 months and he only lost one cast. he has a second and would have had another second last weekend, but i was 2 minutes late getting back. the only cast that he lost was against his littermate brother, owned by a man in Warner Robins, ga. and that dog made night champion in 4 hunts, with two king of hunts and one second place.

That cross was made to a ntch female out of super jet 6 and female out of jet 5 X souix valley fly II

Poolecw, I live about 40 minutes south of Dalton. You can look forward to hills, hills, and more hills around there. If you can't stand the climbing better head south to hunt. I'm in Cartersville. When you get settled in give me a call and we'll see about a hunt.770-387-1604. Harry.
