Question about Wildlife trackers
I have been told that a 10 dog or bigger on the wildlife tracking systems have something added in that kills the static you get from oilwells, high lines, etc....is that right? Also, can you upgrade a 3 dog up to a 10 dog and what does taht cost if you can?
I have a TRX 1000 and it still gets goofy around large power lines. It's older so maybe thats a new feature. I still wouldnt trade it for any other telemetry unit.
I have a TRX 16 and it has what's called noise blankers. I've tested mine around power lines even stood right under them and it didn't pick up any static . That's why I paid the little extra. I've hunted with the ones that don't have it.
well
does anyone know if you can get them put in a three dog?
To bad Wick isn't around any more, he could tell you.
