Where do the pups end up?

Do you ever wonder where the pups you breed end up? Thought I'd share this:
I live in N. Florida where blueticks are pretty scarce. I needed a new boat, seen one in the classifieds, called the guy and went to look at it ( 1998 16 ft welded aluminum, 50 HP Johnson) We were talking about the boat and a good looking bluetick comes up out of the yard. I have blueticks, so naturally I asked if it was registered, hunted ect. - he said he got it from as a pup from Oklahoma- Turns Out he was off GRNTCH Clear river Diamond Jim (Jim Smallings dog I believe) Guy said he had never hunted him. Well the dog wondered off (getting dark by ths time) and a little while later i hear CHOP< CHOP< CHOP< CHOP- The guy said "That aggravating dog- Messes with the neighbors cats and all kinds of other critters (possums, Coons)- Never been trained- WHAT A WASTE!

Lots of pups

Never get a chance in the woods and even more are screwed up by the trainers or other dogs they hunt with.

Over 30 years ago down in Miami, I lost a nice female Bluetick. I ran some ads in the paper and was amazed at the calls I got. Many people called and said their neighbor had a dog the fit the descriptiom and I should check the dog out. Just like you said, I was amazed and all the good blooded hounds laying around peoples back yard.
