Brood Female? Brood STUD?

I heard this past week of someone having a "Brood stud dog." Is there anyone in the world that would breed to a "brood stud" that hasn't ever been hunted? Or maybe they were hunted and didn't make the cut? Who knows.....

I don't think a brood stud could be any worse than a brood female.

Don't know if I'd call him a " brood " stud , but I know of a male that's been stuck on a chain that I'd breed a good female to.
He would run and tree his own coon at about 7 months and then the guy quit hunting him.
I took him out about 4 years ago ( dog was 7 ) and he did a fine job of drifting out a bad track and getting it treed. Just like he'd done it every day.
I've also hunted with 3 of his littermates that were coondogs. And I hear of another one that is.
If I could find a good female that's got Yadkin River Champ or Spring Creek Rock blood up close , I'd breed to him in a minute.
