A while back somebody asked what is the best Bluetick hunt to attend. I think this is the hunt. With all the added prizes and money it should be one of the largest in some time. Nowdays most hunts have very little socializing but BBCHA was founded for houndsman to gather and have fun. So even if you don't hunt in the night hunts or bench show come out and visit. They say the coon population around West Plains has been excellent the past couple years.

I like the BBOA Bluetick Days Hunt but I have to agree with you Wesley. I think the Fall Roundup Hunt might be the best Bluetick Hunt.

I agree with Wesley 100% I'm not A competition hunter but enjoy the fellowship of the Fall Roundup I've met so many people there to me it's just almost unreal. Mike I've never met you but look forward to it.

I don't think that hunt has ever been out there close for the eastern members. Maybe if enough interest was made by the members out that way they would rotate it your way. Just a thought like it's been stated over and over its not really about the competition but more about the fellowship any way. Wouldn't bother me to see it move closer to other members. That just makes things fair. I know we would still come fellowship. Nice little vacation somewhere in the Virginia s or Carolina s would be fun.

I ve made the trip for the last 4 years in a row.....the last 2 yrs I ve not hunted just socialized and made new friends...I think one reason some of the folks back here do not show interest is the condition of the economy.....I do think that if they would move it closer there would be a good turn out....there are some dedicated and loyal bluetickers here in the east.

You won't have an issue with running coon all night in a bean field. Not real conducive to old fellas packing a spare tire around their waist. A great place to test your power and good folks to visit with.

I plan to be in the middle of the Navajo Nation on the trail of a long tail gato. Lion season opens on Oct. 1 and while I would love to met and visit with my fellow bluetickers, this is my favorite of all the hunts that I do. At age 62, I am not sure how many more years I can go so I must take advantage of all of them.

Definitely the most enjoyable hunt that I go to each year. Usually, really nice weather with lots of coons out. This year, there's going to be a considerable amount of money and prizes available to the winners. Our new president has been beating the bushes pretty hard to see what he could come up with and from what I've read so far, it sounds pretty good. If you've never made it to this hunt try to come and check it out. Thanks

lol Travis! I've got a new trailer I want to stay in with AC and a shower just need a hook up and some water.

any help from anyone about camping on the grounds would be helpful. i'm sure i'm not the only one wanting to camp.
