What Kind Of Pie ?

What kind of pie could you not live without on Thanksgiving?

There will probably be at least three choices but my mom's pecan pie is what I'm looking forward to.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Pie, is the kind of pie I could not go without. I do not discriminate. Looking forward to some good pecan and pumpkin pie. Also a good lemon merange pie or sugar cream pie is not out of the question.

I loved mincemeat pie when I was young. We raised our own hogs and made our own mincemeat. I don't have any idea where you could even find any mincemeat this day and age.

Just so happens that wife found mince meat in a jar on the store shelf here. Brand name is Borden's None Such ,,, Classic original,,lol, we will see what when it goes in the oven and back out. I'm like you We used to raise our hogs and butcher,,Mom would cook the hog head to make the mince meat add her raisins, apples ,molasses and what all mix it up and bake those rascals for Thanksgiving and Christmas too...I will let you know if this stuff is any good or if we feed it to the varmits ,,,lol.
