I THINK SANTA ( THE WIFE ) IS GOING TO GET ME A CAP LIGHT FOR CHRISTMAS.

JUST WONDERING WHAT YOU GUYS LIKE AND DO NOT LIKE. BRANDS AND PRICES, WHERE TO GET THEM.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ON THEM WEIGHT, BRIGHTNESS, CHARGING.

Sunfire Ultra HD. Mine is the amber color and coons will definitely look right at it. It will pick up the glow of an eye almost 90 degrees to it. You will not believe how much light this thing can produce. It is very light weight and mine is also the belt light. I didn't think reaching behind or even up to my head to turn it on or adjust it would be very comfortable. One buddy has the red for his color and I guess you could use it as a walking light but the amber is better for that too. I have heard that the green color is the best for walking but never seen it. I think if you had the Ultra HD you would be very happy with it. Very high quality and the headpiece is small. Some of these new lights have a ridiculously large headpiece but they are not as bright as this one. Good hunting.

Edit: Got mine form this fella....right nice dude...musta shipped it "same day air" cause I got it quick.

Boss Hotspot 3d. Dogs that were honest before may not be so honest after you hunt with a hotspot. The light is stupidly bright. 5 levels of brightness on all 3 colors, white, red, and green. The white isn't the bright white that you see in alot of lights, it's a more natural color. I've hunted for a week on mine before and it never really even got dim. Longest burn time I've seen. Heard of a few people that tried to run it dead and they just couldn't. Last night I found 2 coons that my buddy would've never found. He got to the tree a while before me and shined the tree and saw nothing. He was about to correct the dog for slickin. But then I cranked the hotspot up to 5 and it was like the sun came back up. I caught a glimpse of fur and there was 2 coons sittin all the way in the top. In my opinion it's the best light on the market. Available in a belt light, box light, or cap light. $279 at Conkeys outdoors, Bruce's customer service is second to none.

Only one I've used is the Hotspot 3d, it's really bright and you'll be hard pressed to find a better person to deal with than Bruce.

If you havent stopped looking check out the mini ultra by sunspot..one of the lightest and probaly the lightest..70,000 true lux..red led that floods the whole tree.a penetrating soft yellow bright light. .You can hunt dark till dawn and have light..Did i mention weight..16.5 ounces on a bump cap..30 day money back guarantee..check it out

Just got the mini a couple weeks ago. Very comfortable to wear, more than bright enough and very well built. Love it!

Laser Torch.around 280 now I believe.have had mine 2 years no problems at all.Great folks to deal with.Have hunted 5 nites without charging.

Sure seems like an awful lot of stuff listed to void the warranty?
Myself, I like it simple---If I buy a light and something goes wrong with it due to the workmanship of building it, it gets fixed or replaced, no questions asked. If it is due to tampering or abuse, it could get fixed with a small fee.....
If I see a lot of void if, void if, it usually will keep me from buying that product......

That crap had to be written by a lawyer, Id use carbide before i bought a light from this outfit.
