Registration Question

Trying again to find out what we need to file to get registration papers on our cocker spaniel. We brought him a couple of years ago and the store gave us a litter shot record at the time that has his UKC ID# and the Sire and Dam's name and UKC#. Out of all the forms, what do we need to file to get his papers. Thanks in advance.

Did you receive a form called a Temporary Registration Certificate or Application for Permanent Registration? This would be a United Kennel Club form and would be green in color.

We received no application for registration when we bought him as a puppy. We only have a Litter Shot Record (looks like a document from the breeder) but it has the sire and dam's name and ukc#.

Go back to the pet shop and demand the Registration Certificate. I'm sure you paid top dollar for a registered dog. If they say they don't have it, tell them you want your money returned. You bought a dog that was supposedly registered and now they must provide you with papers. UKC cannot give them to you, they must pass from owner to owner.
