Bought a different slingshot anyone else pack one of these

Mossberg Int't 22lr 802 Plinkster bolt action with 10 Rd mag. Has 18 inch barrel and composite stock. Came with a nice scope. Scope might get swapped out. I was looking for something short and light weight.

Anyone have any pros or cons they would share??

I have a couple of the Mossberg 702 Plinksters same gun only automatic instead of bolt action. I love mine, as they are lightweight and super accurate. I have the Rossi RB models in bolt action which are the same guns as the Mossberg 802, both the Mossbergs and the Rossi guns are made in the same factory in Brazil, they are just branded with the Mossberg and Rossi names. These guns are very good shooters, with the bolt actions being a bit more accurate in my opinion. I have lots of 22 rifles and both the Mossberg and Rossi are way better than the price you pay for either. Put a better scope on your gun and you will have a excellent hunting rifle. Buy yourself a couple extra mags as the are affordable and come in handy. Dave

Thanks Dave

I was looking for the Rossi bolt action. But all I could find was the semi auto. Found this 802 at a swap meet with the scope. Have done some shooting and scope is dead on. Want to do some target shooting in the dark. Then I will know if it collects enough light.

Ordered 2 10 round mags this afternoon.

I think you will be well pleased with the gun, about the only difference between the Mossberg and Rossi are the stocks look different, but they are the same gun.I own both Brands and both bolt action and auto models and like every one of them. Their accuracy really amazes me at that price point. I love 22 rifles and own many different brands from Anshutz to Winchesters and for the money the Mossberg Models 702, 802 and the Rossi bolt and autos are hard to beat for hunting day or night. Dave
