Hunting after pups

I have a female that I bought unknowingly bred. She was just starting to turn it on. I’ve heard horror stories about females not hunting the same after pups. Anyone on here ever have that problem?

Have hunted a number of female coon dogs and beagles because they are my preference to hunt. I never noticed a change in ability after they had pups.

The only time I’ve seen a difference with a female is about a month before they come in they start acting stupid sometimes. I’ve never had any problems with one acting different after having pups.
