Iowa pubic hunting ?

I live near Iowa and have some questions if anyone can help me.
Can you hunt or train on any listed public land in Iowa?
Does this include any park or state owned land?
There isn't much info for coonhunting or training season for Iowa and just looking for direction to find out more info before forking out $200 something for a license.
IL loves taxes, but basiclly hates hunters.

Look up www.Iowadnr.gov/

Left hand side of home page it says places to hunt & shoot. I’ve taken a few people to the public hunting in my area. Some said they would never go back. 😁

The public hunting south of Blakesburg, Iowa is very rough in spots. There is several thousand acres to hunt and plenty of coon, just lots of big ditches and our lovely DNR has started cutting down trees and leaving them lay to make the habitat better(so they say) only thing its good for is the deer hunters! I still go down there and hunt occasionally just not my favorite place to go.
