Learning the Redbone breed
Would love some information on this breed. I just picked up one of the most accurate hounds and he is a redbone. I have hunted walkers for years but when I hunted with this dog I knew if he came up for sale I would buy him. He is accurate. I hunted with him 6 times and seen a coon with him every time he was cut. Well I bought him and since I have cut him 9 times and seen 10 coons so he is still doing it good. Anyone who is expert on Bree would love to talk for few minutes to understand them better.
Sounds like you got yourself a nice one
Yes sir, this dog is a gem. Most accurate hound I have ever walked behind so far and has a handle to boot. He is the real deal coondog. I know each breed is different and I would like to learn more about them. I get a lot of heat from my buddies but once they see him go they are believers. He ain’t as fast as Walker hounds but I haven’t walked a mile to him yet either. 300 to 500 he has coon in the air. He has found his forever home.
Could you share his pedigree, that might help someone to respond about his breeding
