Frontline

Does anyone use frontline on their dogs for tick prevention? How does it work, compared to cow tags, seresto collars , Bravecto, etc.? I hate to use chemicals on my dogs but seems to be the lesser of two evils, the ticks cause a lot of problems left uncontrolled. From what I know Bravecto it don't kill the tick or flea until it bites. Wouldn't that let the tick do its harm before it dies. Cow tags seem too much for a dog size animal compared to a cow, the dosage might be too much, even if cut. Seresto collars I thought about, and just use when I hunt the dog, like zip tie to the dogs collar, but from what I know that won't work unless on the dog all the time. Whats your take on all this?

Wife uses frontline on her foo foo show dogs. I borrow the bottle to use on my cooner. Works well and haven't had any problems. I've also used a 10$ bottle of Adam's flea n tick from tractor supply.

Frontline

I used Frontline for years with good results, but the last year or so of using Frontline and Frontline Plus I became totally unsatisfied. I applied faithfully, but dogs still had fleas. I sprayed their lots, everything I could do, even applying at 3 week intervals and still had flea problems. I switched to the Seresto Collar and my flea problems were solved. NO FLEAS OR TICKS using the Seresto Collars. Seresto Collars are the best money I have ever spent, they last for months and are the best remedy for fleas and ticks that I have ever used. Dave
