Johnny if I understand your question, the answer is. There are 3 ways to load a collar. Wirelessly is the easiest. Second way is to load by using the button the collar with the handheld in add mode. I am amazed how fast the collar adds once in the pairing mode. Now for the slight issue and Garmin is aware and working on. If you try to pair using the Training code. The collar will add but then training feature (M,C,V) won't propagate into the training key box. You have to add the m, c, v with the training function and then you might still hit a snag. Hope this helps and I understood your question.

Johnny have a safe trip and a great time. I have had several friends and customers get the system and during my initial check on how things were going. They said they just wasn't sure about the new system. Gave them a few days and some tips and they seem very happy. Which makes me very happy. The thing is with this system is not how do you use it. Most learned that with the ALPHA 100. This system is so customizable it comes down how you want to use it. I have actually changed my mind on what my favorite pages to watch are.
