Tommy Irvin { Redhot Redbones ]

I actually spelled his name wrong in the heading, it's spelled Tommie.

Did anyone watch American Pickers S2 ep 14, Moonshine and Motors last night. The pickers were in Georgia picking Bobby Irvin, Son of Tommie Irvin the late Redbone man from Georgia who usually called his dogs Irvin's Redhot ect., and owned Irvin's hunting supplies. Bobby tells a great story about his Dad who was a Moonshine runner in his early days and helped start up Nascar and was one of the first people to race in Nascar. He was the original number 16. I used to always visit with Tommy at Kenton Nationals years ago, and was down to his place in 2003 or 2004 and bought a dog off Tommie [ Nite Ch Irvin's Redhot Rebel ]. Very interesting show.

I saw it and wondered if it was the same Tommy Irvin. His son never mentioned coonhounds so I wasn't sure.
