The Gold Hill hounds....

Mr. Shive was our cast guide when my B&T hound "Stump" won the SETW Days in 1986. He sat in the car with the window rolled down, and as we visited for many, many years after that in Salisbury @ Walker Days, he would always say "Old Stumpy really put on a show that night!" And yes, Bobby had the "Gold Hill" line of Walker-dogs....

I wish Walker days would come back to Salisbury

I remember reading your columns about your hunts with the "Stumpy Dog" !


Hmmm..I may have just revealed that I'm getting old.

I witnessed a “stumpy show” one night at Wooster Ohio B&T days myself!
