Pups 1st fur season
I have a young dog that's close to being singled out for the coon season. I'm curious to hear what's everyone's thoughts on how many coons he should have shot out if any at all.
Do you shoot out 1 a night?
Shoot out 1 every other tree?
Or shoot 1 out of every tree he makes?
I live in thick coon area so I wouldn't have any problems thinning them out to bad.
Feeding pup
I’d give him all he trees feed him the hides if he does good job on them
Thanks for the reply. I think we are going to try to get as many as possible to him.
IMO every dog is different depends on how the dog acts as to how many he needs or doesn't.
