Just 1 week away
Just 1 week left until the 3 longest months in the year are over! I can get back to training my double Road Trip pup. She has only seen 2 coons before season closed in January, and she hadn't started yet. She started in last week February or first week of March, and was treeing coons until quiet time started April 15th.
I must be crazy because I am actually excited to fight the mosquitoes, ticks, heat, humidity, and my nemesis poison ivy. Tomorrow I get my hair cut short, and buy some Sawyer's pesticide. My wife gave me a Mission cooling towel for Father's Day. My Under Armour heat gear is clean. The hordes of bunnies have been driving Stormie nuts.
We are ready!!!!!!!

Is it open season or do you just get to run them again?

Running season on state land, and we can shoot nuisance coon on private property. I figure 1 or 2 will be all she will need until October.

Our season opens July 1st till March 31. We can run all year but to hunt on state ground season has to be open. I got a new pup to start so tomorrow we will go hunt out of a boat on state ground. Good luck with yours.
