Obama's Pardon

It's been rumored that Obummer will pardon Clinton of any wrong doing before he leaves office. To my knowledge, she has not been charged or indicted for anything yet. Hard to pardon someone that has not been charged with a crime ! Hopefully, everybody will just be cool untill January 21 and then let the hammer drop on ol Hillary and all those involved in all of her illegal scandals. Don't know who will be Trump's new Att. General, but I hope he or she will make this a major priority .

Obama can pardon Hillary for all crimes known and unknown. Which will make her immune to prosecution for ALL crimes committed before the date of the pardon.
I may be wrong, but I think Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon like this. Now if she would be dumb enough to commit another crime after the pardon she could be prosecuted for that one.

While most believe that one has to be convicted of a crime in order to be pardoned nothing is further from the truth for the fact is that a presidential pardon can be issued dating from the time an actual offense is committed all the way up to the time a full sentence has been served. However, a pardon cannot be granted before an offense has been committed

Of note, Richard Nixon was granted what’s known as a ‘pre-emptive’ pardon by Gerald Ford thus absolving Nixon of “all offenses against the United States which he…has committed or may have committed or taken part in” while he served as President. And Ford did so before any charges against Nixon were filed thus preventing them from ever being done so

To me it looks like she is free and clear, or who on here believes Obama won't pardon her ?

As I said before "time to move on."
