Parvo question
Trying to help a friend for the record this is not my dog that I'm asking about. He has two 5 month old hound pups. One of them had a very bloody stool took it to vet, vet diagnosed or tested positive for pargo. The other puppy is doing fine and not showing any signs right now. What is the best thing he can do to prevent the other pup from getting it? Move it? Medicine? Home remedy? Thanks for any help

parvo shot, the pup can and will most likely get parvo if not treated....take the pup away from the parvo pup.....

I would move the pup and as Mr Pickett said give it a Parvo shot and then keep a eye on the pup and if it starts getting symptoms get it to the Vet or treat it yourself if you know how, If the other pup just had a bloody stool and shows no Parvo symptoms in days to come i would treat it for Hook Worms, I saw two pups that the Vet said had Parvo back in June that was later took to another Vet that ended up being Hook Worms, Good luck with the pups .
Get them both on Tamiflu ASAP.
