? For Mr. Conkey

First off from my experience from being a past customer I want to thank Bruce for his outstanding customer service, and also his willingness to always help somebody out on this site.

My question deals with charging a DC40 collar. Last night before I dropped for a few I noticed that my DC40 collar only had 1 bar of battery life. So I cleaned contact points real good and stuck it on the charger. The blue blinking light comes on like normal. I come back 5 hours later and when I check out the collar. It is still blinking. I turned the collar on to check its progress and it still only has one bar of battery. So I unplugged the charger from the cradle checked that part to make sure it was clean and it was, plugged it back to the collar and plugged it back in. I wake up this morning and check the collar and it's still blinking and upon checking it, it still only has the one bar of battery. For some reason it's not charging and I don't know if it's the actual battery on the collar itself or if their is a problem with the charging equipment.

My question is have you ever heard of this before or what do you think might be wrong?

Thanks for your time.

I have a t5 that did the same thing and I went through the same process as you with no luck....I then used the charger that plugs into my truck (cigarette plug ) and it charged up fully....I guess my wall charger is bad

.

I would try the different charger and on some of the newer collars it is one of the contacts with an issue. With yours it is probably a battery which is simple to replace.
