-- DC 50 problem (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928418798)
DC 50 problem
I have 2 dc50 collars. They both constantly drop signal. They don't even have to be very far away. My 2 dc30 collars almost never lose signal. I have updated my 320 it didn't help so I did it again. One of the dc50 came with the unit and worked fine for a good while. When I started having trouble with it I purchased a new one. It has never worked right. So I suppose my 320 is the problem. Are you supposed to update the dc50 somehow? Am I missing something? Getting mad !

You can update the collar the same way as the handheld. Several things to try such as cleaning the antenna connection on the collars. You could also do a master reset on the collar to erase any corrupt data. You might try deleting the collars from the handheld and re-entering them. Also try deleting all the unwanted tracks in your track manager on handheld. Just a few things I would try.
I bought a dc50 when they first came out I had dc40s then took the 50s back after a month there junk imo loat contact didnt update speed or distance traveled and I ran it on the same do my opinion sell the 50s my wife bought me the t5 they work every bit as good as the 40s good luck
interesting
I got a 50 when they first came out. Though, it does have good range, it is all the time dropping signal, then picking back up. I have never had that kind of problem with my 2 30s or my 2 40s. When I mention it to other people that have 50s, they say it never happens to them.
