Shout out to my Cast members!!!!

I just to say thanks to the guys I hunted with Friday nite in Bryant,IN.

3 dog cast. We cut loose and two dogs go right and my female (Jess) goes left. Other two dogs tree and have a coon, we walk off their tree to listen for Jess. We hear her treed, I tree her and we walk her direction. We get where my garmin say 40 yards and in and out of signal, she still sounds far off. Then we see a huge hole in the ground with a busted clay tile about 4 foot deep in the ground. Sure enough she's in there about 20 foot back.

Our guide and other cast member went to the landowners house to get some shovels while I sat at the hole tryin to coax her out. We dug for an hour and 20 mins, takin no breaks. The landowner even came back and helped sling dirt. We finally go her out with out a scratch. There's no doubt they all help save her life. The crazy part is, she was raring to go on the walk back to the truck. I checked her over good and decided to cut her loose on the next drop and she went 380yards and treed a coon. She's got heart!!

So here's proof not every cast is fussin, fightin, and cheating. There's some cast that the guys will bust their back and go out of their way to help a fellow coonhunter. I want to say I greatly appreciate all their help. And it's hard enough to get a landowner to let u hunt their land, let alone come back and dig out a dog for and hr. THANKS!!!!

Help your brother

My hats off to all of you and the land owner. AND THANKS for posting this story. I just started two years ago. And I have seen this sort of helping hand a fue times. But my last hunt went the other way.We all dropped out . All but the judge that is. Any way cant we all have a good time. And enjoy our dogs , fellowship and the time God has blessed us with. Hats off boys keep up the good work.
