New and old tritronics

Does anyone know if the new tritronics/garmin shock collars will pair with the older tri tronics g3 exp recievers? I have a classic 70 that was made before garmin bought them out and need another collar.

no. I called Garmin about a week ago. The new Garmin operates with a different radio frequency and won't sync. It's called a mers? and it is supposed to be a better and longer range reaching up to 4 miles.
