Is the spot light brighter than the light?

Yes the spotlight is a little brighter, I think the biggest reason why is that it has a tighter spot than the Bayou. This spotlight holds its spot very well over distance. Many of my deer hunting buddies carry this spotlight in their trucks to shine deer with.
