My ? Is how manyof u treed a coon in the same tree cuz I treed in this this year and like five or six times last year and my buddy said we should kill that dam coon but this coon is smart like tonight it took the dogs down a creek and then in tree tops; one night that dam coon will go right up the next night he'll go for a lil run like to it was over 1500 yard so itold my buddy let's go over too the pine tree and gusse I was right that coon went up that dam thing so my ? Is would u guys kill it or level it live cuz that smart coon makes ur dog work thanks for reading
Thats one I'd leave.
Don't kill her' propably and old sow!! But I had the same thing before and was so determinedtotree thatcoon on the outside thatonenightwhentheystruck her I went and stood in front of the den she liked to use !! Anyway I was so pumped that when my pu treed her about 100 yards from that den I went and shot her before I realized it and as soon as she hit the ground I was sorry I had shot her!!!! We don't have a lot of coons and she was a reproducing sow but mostly cause she could have taught a lot of pups a lot about trailing in rough conditions !!
coon
I had one like that. Its was always a 600 to 800 yard chase thru tree tops and every trick it could pull. Never killed it but think it just liked to be run and was real good training on some hard tracks. Treed on the outside most of the time but was always a good chase.
