I plan on building above ground kennels this spring against my 10x12 barn roof style shed.. Looking for ideas I want the boxes inside. Just not sure how to do it with the roof being low to the ground. Any pics or ideas?

Check on the americanbeagler forum there is a section for building kennels. If you scroll back through some you can find some nice ones built like your saying.
