-- purina race? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928342592)
purina race?
the purina race used to be of high interest to many in the sport.
what happened?
I realize ive been out of the loop for a few years and may have missed something along the way, but from what I can tell the p race is almost obsolete with very little participation or interest.
I was curious about it about a week ago, and decided to see what was going on with it too.
Funny.....can't even find a link for the standings. Little wonder folks really don't get to wrapped up in it. The only thing left with the Purina race is the publicity...and now there isn't any of that.

Yes the coverage has been less than stellar. $25,000 purse is still interesting to some though.
There was onle 4 or 5 dogs at Ohio State hunt on Saturday night.
