Question on ukc number
on my dogs easy entry card where his ukc number is has a letter after the number I haven't seen this before like this for example U111,111-d
I think that means the dog was issued duplicate papers.. The original set was lost.. I have one like that...

ok thanks I was worried that they weren't his papers and that d stood for dead or something lol
Melanie is correct, it just means his papers were lost at some point and re-issued. That way if the original papers come in with someone elses name on them we'll know something fishy may be going on (like someone found your dogs papers and is trying to put them on another dog).
You have nothing to worry about. There are lots of dogs out there with the -D after their number!
