Spayed female ?

Thinking of getting my old girl spayed. Wondering if they still hunt and act the same.

I've had 2 spayed and they both done just fine. Still hunted hard and treed coon's. One passed away last year at the age of 14 and still hunting one now she's almost 11. But im sure everydog is different and some may react differently to surgery

How come you want to do that Jimmy?

Because One is gonna be 8 and I have no intentions of getting her bred again. Seems like her last litter took quite a bit out of her.
She's a good dog, won quite a bit on a local level, some on a state and a little on national levels. We bred her to a stud that is producing and pretty much had to give the puppies away to get rid of them.
