just sitting around thinking about when i was a kid going down to the river to watch the water race and treeing contest.havent seen one in years they were fun to watch

im young but i went to a coon on a log event and a treeing contest but it was along time ago..i think they still have them at some of the hunts.

they are some that have them in other states i think the reason they dont have them here is the game laws where you cant keep a live coon,they used to have them at most of the hunts when i was younger heck im just 40 my how things change really liked the treeing contests

Same here in Western NC. I miss em to. I remember going with my daddy when i was just a kid and watching em swim the lake. We won alot of treeing contests with a redbone (not a walker) believe it or not. Now that my daddy isnt able to get through the woods to hunt anymore, I would love to take him to field trials now, like he did me then. We loved watching em together and participating.
