dogs with overdue vaccinations?

have a dog who is overdue for rabies I believe by a year, how long should I wait after giving new vaccination before I can hunt him?

North Carolina says it is considered vaccinated and protected more than 28 days after vaccination, so 29 days by our law. not sure about Pa. it may be different. check with your local Animal Control, they ought to be able to give you the numbers!

I wouldn't worry about it. Titer test have proved that rabies shots last much longer than local government recommendations.

I agree with Larry. Every thing I've read says that after the dog has his second rabies vacination shot they are covered for life unless their immune system shuts down. Government says to vacinate every three years just to be sure: I'll agree with the government on this one.
