How to Break off cats???

I have a VERY NICE young male 14mths old thats been doing it all since he was 8mths old. will tree a short coon,Lay up or a long running bow coon and will not run anything else but lord forbid if he runs across a house cat he will lay it up everytime. Any suggestions on how to break him let me know pls thanks.

just keep him in the woods. Housecarts aren't all that frequent. Anyway the wind was blowing hard one night and I could not hear much. I saw a stinking houscat and turned a pup out on it. The wind started to lull and it turned into a heck of a good chase.. They got off the place I was hunting and I did not realize how close the line was to an old woman's house. Towrectley he bayed up , sounded like a hollow. Next thing I know is I hear " Git out from under my house" while the witch sounding thing stomped on the floor. Quick as a cat that pup hit the fireline with his head looking back over his shoulder and like to broke his own neck when he ran in the side of my truck. He has left them alone since then.

Well I hope i didnt mess him up cause i straped him an put him back in the box there has to be alittle diff in the smell i would think. i cant stand a cat
