Tonights hunt
Decided to hunt in all this wind tonight. Went out with Walt Wilson and Eugene Kares. Walt brought his seven month old male pup sired by Jim Wales and Dave Putnams Beaver Flood Nightmare. That was the first time I have hunted with one of these pups. I can tell you I sure was impressed. That pup treed his own coon and had the meat everytime! He split treed from my dog on the last tree and was probably less than twenty yards from my dog. His coon was over twenty pounds if it weighed an ounce! Fun hunt thanks to Garmin! Never would have tried to hunt in this wind without it. Nice pup Walt hope we can do it again soon.

we went out tonight also, treed a biggin, and it was windy an heck here too.,we got a couple pups doing pretty dang good, had to use an older dog to help em out a little, treed right on the crick.
yeah it was a good hunt, except my dog looked like crap(stupid walker)and yes that 7mo old pup is going to be a nice dog.hopefully tonight my dog does better.
They all have a bad night once in a while Eugene. Keep putting her in the woods and she will come back around. I have seen her do a good job too.
